Message from the Founder & Principal Lead
My journey in the architectural field has been about turning challenging ideas into tangible, beautiful realities.
After completing my higher studies in the architectural field, I gained invaluable experience over several years at leading architectural firms, working on a diverse range of projects. This foundation included pivotal work in private sector design consultancies, where I built the comprehensive technical skills required to deliver complex designs.
Spanning over 15 years in the industry, this dedication to excellence eventually led me to develop a unique architectural vision. It was this distinctive design approach that first garnered a strong client base, which ultimately led me to establish KIOTA Architectural Studio. Today, it is a successfully running studio, and I’ve personally overseen the delivery of over 500 projects.
This hands-on experience, spanning all regions of the island, from family home design in Sri Lanka to large-scale hospitality and corporate facilities, is the foundation of our studio’s technical capability.
As a Principal Lead, I personally ensure that our collaborative process meets every client’s unique requirement for their space. We understand that whether you’re planning a simple small house design or a luxury villa, the work is deeply personal. Operating successfully from our base near Mawanella, we are driven to provide innovative architectural design solutions that are perfectly aligned with your vision and budget.
